Description: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting on a sole source basis for Technical Representative services to perform A/C compressor repair services in support of SRF Yokosuka Japan. This is an urgent requirement to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Johnson Controls/York International per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The period of performance shall be 15 November 2009 through 12 January 2010 in Yokosuka Japan. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Parts 12, and 13.5, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors. The commercial solicitation, N00406-10-T-0086, will be issued on or about 06 November 2009 with a closing date of 13 November 2009. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
