Description: PRESOLICITATION NOTICE PROJECT NAME: Emergency Watershed Protection Program Auxiliary Spillway Repair, Twin Caney Watershed, Sites 12-3 and 8-34. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. LOCATION: Chautauqua County, Kansas SUMMARY: This project is for the auxiliary spillway repair through the Emergency Watershed Protection Program in Chautauqua County, Kansas. Work is as detailed in the plans and specifications and includes earthfill, excavation and pollution control. QUANTITIES: Earthfill volume (3,200 Cu. Yd.); Excavation (1,339 Cu. Yd.); and Pollution Control (930 Lin. Ft.) TIME FRAMES/DATE: Performance time, including mobilization and days for inclement weather is 15 work days, assuming 10 hour work-days and 6 day work-weeks. Tentative dates: 1) solicitation packet will be posted on approximately November 15, 2009, 2) bid opening will be held approximately, December 15, 2009. Prospective contractors must obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number.
