Description: The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS) anticipates soliciting a Sole Source Firm Fixed price contract to Nordic Ammunition Company. The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement for the above through Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The intent is for the procurement of approximately up to 10M 5.56mm, M995, and up to 15M 7.62mm, M993, Armor Piercing rounds. This contract will be for Fiscal Year 10 (FY10) ending 30 September 2010. The identified source is Nordic Ammunition Company.
